Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Sunday that the grandeur of Rajim Kumbh Mela will return. Saints from across the country will participate.
“The messages of Mata Rajim are beneficial for humankind. We all should follow the messages given by Bhakta Mata Rajim and Bhakta Mata Karma.”
Praising the Sahu community, Sai said: "Today this society is progressing in all sectors, including education, agriculture and business."
He was addressing the Bhakta Mata Rajim Jayanti Mahotsav in the city of Rajim.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, former Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu and MLAs were present.
Sao said: “The Sahu community has earned the identity of serving others. The work of the community provides direction and brings societies together.”
Preparations are underway to organise the Rajim Kumbh in a grand manner on March 1, an official communique said.
