Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday said that the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) has achieved a significant milestone in Haryana, with over 1 crore ABHA accounts already created, showcasing the state's commitment to embracing digital healthcare. The Health Minister, during the release of the NHM Haryana calendar, highlighted ABDM's potential to bridge gaps among patients, doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies, ensuring widespread access to efficient, affordable, and quality healthcare.

Vij said that ABDM's primary objective is to establish a national digital health ecosystem that supports universal health coverage. This mission involves implementing state-of-the-art digital health systems, creating centralized registries for comprehensive healthcare data management, promoting open standards for seamless data exchange, and empowering individuals with secure personal health records through ABHA.
